Therapy

Most people experience loneliness, self-doubt, and frustration with relationships at one time or another. Many of us have wished for more meaning in our work, or to be more creative in our private time. A history of past abuse can make it harder to enjoy life now and to connect with others. Therapy can help with these kinds of problems.

Therapy offers a safe place to explore parts of yourself that may be causing pain or embarrassment. Over time you can unwind inner knots that keep you from feeling comfortable with who you are. You will be supported in making changes that are important to you.

I will listen to you. Together we will come up with a therapy plan based on your goals.

Psychotherapy cannot make us whole, but it does allow us to transform suffering into speech and, ultimately, to learn to live with desire.

Medications

Psychiatric medications provide help by addressing your symptoms at the level of your brain chemistry. Before I write you a prescription, we will discuss your goals for treatment. I will collect a thorough history in order to identify the best medication options for you. I will give you information so that you can make informed choices. Your medication plan will address your needs as a whole person rather than a collection of symptoms.

Insurance and Fees

I am in-network with Regence Blue Shield, Asuris Health, Premera Blue Cross, First Choice, and Aetna insurance plans. If you do not have one of these plans, I can provide you with receipts to submit to your insurance company.

If you do not have insurance, my fees range from $75 to $150 per session, depending on services provided. I charge $250 for a comprehensive initial evaluation.

Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis and can be discussed individually.
